EFG Nation Culture

Our team comes to work every day ready to meet the challenge of living up to our values by ensuring they direct our behaviors with each other, our clients, and our customers.

EFG Stewards of Excellence

At EFG, we recognize that our people are THE sustainable, competitive advantage in the space in which we wish to compete. We acknowledge that high employee satisfaction drives higher customer satisfaction. Given that our company culture must be our competitive advantage, the EFG Stewards of Excellence was formed.

The EFG Stewards of Excellence serve as ambassadors for the EFG Nation, with the goal of making sure the magic of EFG’s corporate culture and connection permeates all aspects of EFG. Made up of six chairpersons from across the organization, the EFG Stewards of Excellence focusses on six pillars of engagement:

  • Increasing transparency across the company through ongoing communication
  • Facilitating two-way communication between senior management and team members with feedback meetings and informal surveys
  • Advancing team member recognition with EFG’s Employee of the Quarter program
  • Building stronger teams through quarterly team-building initiatives
  • Fostering greater connection with monthly events
  • Giving back to the community with yearly philanthropy initiatives

Team Member Engagement

Over the last seven survey years, EFG has been recognized as a National Standard Top Employer four times, and as a Top 100 Workplace within the DFW area once based on annual employee survey results from Energage, the company that powers the nation’s premier employer recognition program Top Workplaces.

A Culture of Giving Back

Team members embrace company initiatives centered around career advancement, work-life balance, and philanthropy. The entire EFG team logged over 750 community volunteer hours in 2022, with most of those hours logged with the North Texas Food Bank.

Early in 2023, EFG conducted a tornado relief donation drive to support a Mississippi community hit by a devastating tornado, collecting 1,442 critical items needed by displaced residents, including:

  • 800 total drinks (Water/Gatorade/Capri Suns)
  • 225 total hygiene items
  • 314 total food items
  • 53 total school supplies
  • 40 toys/books/DVDs
  • 10 bags of cat/dog food

Celebrating Achievements

At EFG we work hard and we play hard.

Aside from holding annual celebrations at places like Chicken n’ Pickle, Top Golf, House of Blues, and the Gaylord Texas, EFG also highlights personal and professional team-member accomplishments in monthly all-employee meetings, and the company’s monthly newsletter, The Monkey Wrench.

EFG loves to celebrate our employees and their family members who graduate from high school and college each year.

Let’s be honest. EFG has rock star team members! Each quarter, EFG recognizes three individuals for going above and beyond their job description in their commitment to the company’s core values of Dependability, Respect, Integrity, Vision and Excellence. These individuals are nominated by their peers, and three are recognized as Employees of the Quarter by EFG’s senior leadership team.
